"Sweet Tea" Quilt Top Finished

I finished the Sweet Tea Quilt Top so it's time to write it up.  You've already seen the individual teapot blocks but you haven't seen the tea cup border so I'll be concentrating on that.  Arlene Stamper and Melissa Harris of The Quilt Company designed the pattern for this beautiful quilt.  I highly recommend any pattern designed by these two ladies.  They always go together so well, no matter how intricate it looks!  The fabrics are from the "Sweet Love" collection by Maywood Studios.  The size of the finished quilt is 60" by 68".

This is the entire top completed except for quilting and binding.

The applique designs have all been fused onto the top and then sewed around with my regular sewing machine zig zag stitch using the clear nylon thread.

I think I may start selling some of my quilt tops in my Etsy shop.  If I do, this will be one of them.  It's a nice way to purchase a quilt for less money and have it quilted the way you want it.

Well, that's all for now ... Until next time,

What a charming quilt. I know several people who collect tea pots or tea cups and they would love this. This quilt is truly a treasure.
